Knoxville has a little of everything: brick traditionals and two-story colonials in West Knoxville subdivisions, craftsman bungalows and older homes under big trees closer to downtown, and newer construction out toward Hardin Valley. A display that looks right on one of those homes can look awkward on another. We start with how your house is built and how it's seen from the street, then design the lighting to fit.
You don't climb anything. Our crew measures, installs, connects power and timers, checks back if something stops working, and returns after the holidays to take it all down and store it until next year. The lights are ours, so there's nothing for you to buy or keep.
Lighting Knoxville's mix of homes
Two-story rooflines
Tall eaves and steep gables are where most do-it-yourself plans stop. They're also what makes a home stand out at night. We light the full roofline, including upper gables and peaks, so the shape of the house reads clearly from the road.
Mature trees in established neighborhoods
Neighborhoods like Sequoyah Hills, Holston Hills, Bearden, and Fountain City have large oaks and maples that make beautiful lighting subjects. Trunk wraps and lit lower branches add depth that roofline lights alone can't.
Subdivisions with neighborhood guidelines
Many newer Knoxville neighborhoods have HOA guidelines about holiday décor. Share yours with us and we'll design within them.
What to think about before you book
- Outdoor powerWe'll look at where your outdoor outlets are and plan the display around them.
- Warm white or colorWarm white reads classic on brick and stone. Multicolor suits a more playful look. We'll show you both.
- Viewing angleCorner lots and homes on a rise are seen from more than one side. We'll plan for every angle that matters.
- WeatherEast Tennessee winters bring wind and rain. If something comes loose during the season, call us and we'll come fix it.
